Stained glass and Lockdown

I love how diverse creativity can be. It’s good to see what people have been up to and share it.

Picture directly above shared by student with their cat Jess complimenting this inspired project using old painted stained glass fragments.

I have put together a happy slide show of stained glass and copper foiling made during lockdown shared by people who previously attended a workshop or courses. I do not take any credit for these works, I believe everyone was already rather talented, I was just part of the process of enabling creativity to come to the fore.

I have included pictures from classes which were rescheduled to September – a long but worthwhile wait.

I recognise that some wouldn’t have had space to work creatively or may have been adversely effected in many ways by Covid-19.  It has been a very hard time for many. I know at times my mood has dropped, with general worries about sustaining my studio and teaching. It was joyful to start teaching again. I am now positive I can continue, with some adjustments, including smaller class sizes and the joy of wearing masks and steamed up glasses.….a sense of humour is going to be a definite bonus.

The next blog will have updates on new class and workshops dates.

Do contact me if you wish to be added to the mailing list and find out about new classes and workshops as soon as I have set the next dates.
