Saturday 4 hour taster workshop in Copper Foiling.
This workshop is taking a pause for a while, but you can still join me for hands‑on Fused Glass Experiences.
I’m also offering bespoke morning or afternoon Copper Foiling sessions for two people if you’d like a more personalised workshop.

Learn how to make a decorative glass sun-catcher using the copper-foiling technique. It is similar to Stained glass, but more for decorative purposes. Come and learn how to cut glass safely and competently, grind glass, apply copper foil tape and how to solder, using a variety of colourful and textured glass.
Copper foiling technique, developed in the Tiffany Studios in the 1890’s, is ideal for decorative panels, sun catchers and mirrors as well as lampshades and other dimensional work. Copper tape and solder are used to create a seam joining the pieces of glass.
Patterns are provided, along with goggles and aprons.
At the end of the workshop you will produced a small decorative sun-catcher to take home.
The workshop and course is hands-on and using tools, making involves standing at a bench. They are focused but fun, limited to 4 students, so students have quality time with the tutor.
