Stained glass courses and workshops in Manchester – New dates for 2020

Come and learn a new skill and create your own stained glass panels. During the short winter months be up-lifted by the beauty and colour of glass,  whilst learning how to design your own pattern, cut and lead glass and solder the panel.

Courses are 9 weeks long on a Monday evening or a Wednesday morning, with only 4 people giving plenty of quality time with the tutor, that’s me.

There are also workshops held on the weekends, Stained glass for beginners and Introduction to Copper Foiling.

Have a look at the slide show to see some work in progress and previous stained glass made during courses. Some is made by people who have returned for a second course. The courses are also suitable for beginners with no previous experience, just a willingness to have ago.

September Stained glass – Workshop Dates

We are now half way through the Summer Holidays, although my kids are nearly grown up my mind set and routines are still governed by the school holidays. Bringing a sense of new beginnings in September, new uniform, new class room, new college or University and maybe new set of skills in Stained glass?

I have dates for workshops and classes starting on September 21st and 22nd with Stained glass weekend for Beginners  and Introduction to Copper Foiling on 28th September. Evening and Daytime classes start from the end of September. All classes and workshops are small and friendly.

New Courses and Workshops for the New Year 2019

Christmas and the New Year 2019 are around the corner with a host of new workshops and courses to do in Stained glass or Copper Foiling.

Including a NEW DAYTIME course on a Wednesday morning!

The Monday Evening course will be running as usual, with Stained glass for beginners weekend workshops in February and March.

Have a look at the selection of pictures showing work being made by people attending the workshops and the beautiful finished creations.

New Spring Workshops

It feels like Spring is pushing its way into the year, with Daffodils beginning to show beneath the melting snow, time for New Stained Glass Workshops, at the end of April and in May and June.

Have a look at the various glass pieces produced by people in the workshops.

NEW YEAR 2018 Stained glass courses

It is coming to the end of a colourful year of stained glass courses and workshops, with all but one class left to teach in 2017.

There are spaces on the next set of Winter classes in the New Year.  If you are interested in trying a new craft for 2018 or buying a creative Christmas gift for someone special. DO ring with any questions about the courses.
